Hello lovely people!
The end of September has come and gone and we are officially immersed in the final quarter of the year. I’m finally on reading week and I’m trying to take this time to reflect on all of my goals, patterns and practices. It’s time to get rid of the bad habits and get to the good!
I find it easier around this time of year to really dig down and work towards accomplishing my goals- but that’s not to say it’s not a challenge. The chillier weather has a tendency to make us want to stay in more- but how much of that cozy-time are we spending working towards our goals? I’m here to say opening my laptop and studying with my 3 blankets isn’t exactly the most effective way of getting work done.
Personally, I find it far more difficult to remind myself that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. When everything sucks, it’s easy to feel like everything is going to suck, and continue to suck- indefinitely. But taking this break to actually remind myself of not just my bad habits, but the ones I want to keep up, is vital in this journey. It’s easy to knock yourself down and be hard on yourself, but always keep in mind that we are our worst critics. Find the things you’re doing well- and work on those- manifest them! I’m going to vow to work on doing that more often…
