Hello, lovely people.

A constant sentiment I've had to keep repeating to myself is that:

things will get better.

It's interesting, to say the least, to see things start to change. Now that my third year of university has come to a close, I've had so much time to reflect and just relax. It's getting re-accustomed to life without hitting the books every 5 seconds- a needed break.  I've run into so many walls when I've forgotten that things do get better. It's definitely not an easy thing to remember- especially when it feels like the storm has just begun.

I thought I'd share how I lead myself back to path of inspiration, upliftment and solace.

1. When things get crazy, I find it so much more bearable with meditation. Taking 5 minutes in the morning to stretch and breathe, rather than waking up and checking Facebook or Instagram does wonders for the mind.

2. I've gotten into the habit of taking deep breaths throughout the day when I tell myself that things get better. When I was going through the storm of classes, work, lack of sleep etc, it was very difficult  to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Taking deep breaths and reminding myself that I was more than capable is a huge reason why I reached the light at the end of the tunnel.

3. Taking care of yourself inside out is so important. Your mind itself needs to much more than a book here and there. You have to feed it through taking care of your body. Staying hydrated, eating right, exercising and taking time to relax are all key components to a healthy state of mind. I've learned this the hard way time and time again- trust me. Take the time to really care for yourself-- take #SelfCare past lush bath bombs, just like I said here!

It's not going to be easy to remind yourself. You've got to get into the habit of repeating it and truly believing it. Strengthen your mind to understand that things will get better- and they will! I promise.

With that being said, here's this weeks' #OOTD!

It's possible. Keep reminding yourself. It can't rain forever!
