Cute & Light

School is officially back in- woo! Time flew but as I mentioned, I'm excited to get grade 12 on the road. This year, I vowed to experiment a tad more with make-up, so I decided to put together a small guideline for everyday make-up.

It's very important not to over-due the make-up thing. Since I'm widening my knowledge on it now, if there's what thing I've learned, it's "The less, the better." This could simply be because of my lifestyle and what it permits, (e.g. I exercise a lot. Sweat + Make-Up = NO!) but from what I have seen, it isn't very hard to create a dramatic look with minimal amounts of make-up. Since this post is focusing on everyday make-up, I won't be talking too much about parties, formal events, graduation looks....yet.

* I included a star in the spread near the foundation to make a note: MAKE SURE YOU CHOSE THE RIGHT SHADE! Often times, ladies think they can get away with a shade close to their skin tone, but it doesn't work as well as you may think. If you don't know what shade to purchase, Sephora has a new tool called the "Sephora + Pantone Color IQ" which will accurately determine your skin tone, and the brands/products that would best suit you!

When I go to school, I don't spend more that 3 minutes on my make-up. Eyeliner, mascara, blot powder (my life saver!)  and some lip gloss. It keeps my skin feeling light and fresh. I don't have to worry about my face 'melting' off when I exercise, and I don't feel like I've caked any make-up on to my face.

What's your everyday make-up look? I wanna know!

xoxo,
