Moroccanoil Treatment Review

Hey Everyone!
I've finally gotten my hands on the very popular "Moroccanoil Treatment."

After hearing nothing but amazing reviews on this product, I just had to try it for myself. The site states:

"Moroccanoil® Treatment’s versatile, nourishing and residue-free formula can be used as a conditioning, styling and finishing tool. It blends perfectly with other products and even speeds up drying time. This treatment for hair completely transforms and repairs as its formula transports lost proteins for strength; fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins for shine; and antioxidants for protection. It absorbs instantly to fill gaps in hair created by heat, styling and environmental damage."

This video demonstrates the different uses, and benefits of the Moroccanoil Treatment.
I used this product on freshly washed, colour treated (henna-dyed) and dry hair. When using on freshly washed hair, I noticed that it was very easy to apply, and left my hair with a subtle, healthy sheen. It also detangled my hair well, making it much easier for me to deal with my hair.

After use of the Moroccanoil Treatment on my hair after following the henna-dye, my hair was left soft and bouncy the next day. For those of you who may not know, henna is known for leaving the hair dry and brittle if not treated correctly to restore moisture. I used the Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask, and followed up with the Moroccanoil and some shea butter. The Moroccanoil alone was very moisturizing- not to mention I noticed very little breakage when using this product!

I use Moroccanoil as often as twice daily on dry hair. I find that it gives my natural hair a great texture as well as excellent moisture. I also noticed that it sort of "highlights" my hair, especially after I applied it to my curly tress following my henna application. Not to mention, I love the smell it gives off!

Overall, I'd give this product 4.9 curls out of 5. My reasoning for -0.1 of a curl off? This bottle retails for $43 EACH. As a student on a STUDENTS budget- this is pricey! This product works wonders nonetheless, which is why I rounded up to such a high decimal.

Have any of you tried the Moroccanoil Treatment? What were your experiences? Leave me a comment below!
