Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask

I'm so glad I finally got a chance to try this product. After hearing praise after praise about it, I had to at least sample some of it on my hair! I was experiencing excessive amounts of  breakage, especially after wearing my hair out during the winter months. After speaking with a Carol's Daughter Expert on their website through live chat, I was directed to this product. I was told it would stop breakage and prevent future breakage, moisturize my hair, and create much stronger hair. The website state:

"96% LESS BREAKAGE AFTER 1 USE!

This deeply repairing treatment nourishes your hair from the root to ends to undo unwanted damage and prevent it in the future.

Strengthening your hair is the only way to lengthen it so you can do whatever you want with it. To really fortify fine, fragile or chemically treated hair requires major nourishment found in the Monoi Repairing Hair Mask. Added to the rejuvenating Monoi Oil – a repairing Tahitian blend of the Tiare Gardenia Flower and Coprah Coconut Oil – is rebuilding Bamboo Water and protective Hydrolyzed Silk."

I used it on one side of my head after a quick (non-clarifying) wash. In comparison to the side that I had not used the product on, I really did see a lot less breakage- woohoo! I used it on my entire head today, and found it to be extremely beneficial. It is also much easier to work with my, and it smells great! My curls were very defined, shiny and had a lovely "bounce." I WOULD give this product a BIG 5 curls up- but I find it too expensive, especially being located in Canada. Shipping is a killer. The price for this product came up to almost $50! Being on a student's budget, that is very pricey for one hair product. If I can find this product somewhere for retail or for a cheaper price, I will most likely repurchase. From me, this product gets 4 curls up! I definitely recommend it to those with beautifully curly tresses!

"Beauty by Nature. Made With Love"

Although this product had silicones AND sulfates, it worked wonders on my hair.
