Back to School Style Guide

As much as I hate to say it, summer it slowly rolling to an end and school is right around the corner!
The most exciting part about this time of year (for me) is going back to school shopping for clothes and accessories. I've decided to create a guide to help you all get your wardrobes up and running for school. Remember that this is just a guideline- jazz it up as much as you like!

 Sheer Fabric Tops

These tops are super cute. They keep everything appropriate, still managing to show a bit of skin. They're really feminine, I love wearing them! Prices range from about $12- $75, so finding tops like this within your budget isn't too hard. Try matching tops like these with cute bandeau's underneath!

 Coloured Jeans

These jeans are great to play up any outfit. They're fun, and come in tons of different colors. It may be hard to step out of your comfort zone with these bright jeans, but once you've got them, you'll thank yourself for the purchase!

Warm Outerwear

Hot chocolate, snuggling, leaves changing colours- Autumn is almost here! If you're like me, and you live in Canada, you know the Fall can get pretty chilly- but it's not hard to stay stylish and warm at the same time! Try cute, oversized sweaters or long, warm coats. The'llkeep you looking hot- no pun intended.

Statement Bags

Purses are making a huge comeback in school. Whether it's a clutch, a stylish backpack or an over the shoulder boho bag, they can do a lot for your outfit!

Upbeat Accessories

*all accessories here are from forever21

When it comes to adding bling to your outfits, jewelry and accessories can help you get it all- but what kind of accessories? Large bangles, bracelets, rings, earrings- anything BIG! It's not hard to find statement jewelry for cheap, just make sure it's clean and agrees with your skin!

Stylish Shoes

Sneakers, wedges, boots, flats- there are tons of different shoes to rock at school. Comfort is definitely key in this field. Make sure your shoes are comfortable, and you can wear them throughout the whole day with remotely no issues. Besides, who doesn't love shoes?

 Perfect Manicure

Nice nails are always great, especially when it comes to first impressions for job interviews, meetings etc. Bright, matte, sparkly, funky designs all look great, especially when it's done neatly. Check out the video above to see how to do the perfect manicure for free- in your own home!

 Haute Hair

Cute hairstyles have the ability to lift your whole outfit! Fishtails seem to be really popular and they're super simple to do. Check out The Beauty Department for hairstyles for straight or chemically altered hair.

If you're like me, and you've got curly hair, check out Curly Nikki or Naturally Curly for cute styles!
