Hair Update: Trichomania Shampoo & Curls Hair Ecstasy Reviews

Hello Everyone!

I took my braids out today....FINALLY. I've got my hair appointment set and ready for tomorrow. So here's a bit of an update on hair and how my hair has been holding up.

Once I finished taking my hair out of the braids, and I automatically realized that I still had split ends to deal with- yuck! But trimming my hair right before I put my braids in definitely helped. I've had a few "OMG your hair grew" and "your hair's gorgeous!" compliments, so I'm not complaining!

Straight after taking my braids out, I hopped into the shower. I used my Trichomania Shampoo from Lush which I must say worked well! My hair felt clean and it had slip to it. The Trichomania shampoo does has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, so I was bit 'iffy' on how it would work, but it seems the coocnut and other nourishing ingredients made up for it. Despite the fact that I barely have all my hair products and tools with me on this trip, the shampoo made my hair a bit easier to work with.

Now, I also bought myself the Hair Ecstasy Conditioner by Curls today because believe it or not- I FOUND IT ON SALE FOR $7.99! Before I leave, I definitely have to stock up on hair produts! I'm so glad I found it for a great price.  After applying it to my hair, I put on a shower cap and sat underneath a hood dryer for about 20 mintues. Once I rinsed it out, my hair felt soft and moisturized. I will consider buying the Hair Ecstasy Conditioner as oppose to the Coconut Sublime conditioner next time, but it's a bit to early to make a final decision as of now.

Overall I'm satisfied with the state my hair is in. I know that I could have done better in terms of moisturizing my hair, but what's past is past, and it's not too late to start now! I'm excited to get my hair done tomorrow, I'll try my best to get to a computer asap and post some pictures!

xoxo,
