2012 Summer Beauty Haul

My Favorite Summer Products!
Hello Everyone!
Hope you're soaking up the summer sun- I sure am! I decided to do sort of a "part two" to my "Top 5 Summer Must Haves". This blog post will be about my favorite things for summer, and why I like them so much!

First off, I'm going to talk about Biore's Warming Anti- Blackhead Cream Cleanser. I only bought this product about 5 days ago, and I already see a difference! My skin is flawless everywhere else- except my face- figures. I've been on the lookout for some beauty products that will turn that around for me. After years of looking, I think I've finally found something that works! Biore's Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleaner has a great feel to it. It doesn't dry my skin out or make my skin feel tight. It moisturizes, and isn't too hard on the exfoliating side. This cleanser has a great touch to it as well- it heats up! It's really relaxing before bed, and helps me wake up in the morning! It gives my face a "hey, I'm awake!" type of look and feeling! I definitely plan to re-purchase this item when it finishes. Hopefully it can clear my skin completely. 5 out of 5 stars!

My next review is on the two fragrances featured in the photo above; "Love Spell" from Victoria's Secret, and "Coconut Lime" from Bath and Body Works. Both are my favorite fragrances! Coconut Lime gives me a beach-y feel, and still keeps me feeling 100% girly. It's got a great tang to its sweet smell. Love Spell on the other hand, gives me a flirty, fun feeling. The bottle states that Love Spell consists of Cherry Blossom and Peach fragrances. All around sweet, I chose Love Spell whenever I'm going out for the night with friends. I always get tons of compliments!

Next I'm going to talk about my sunscreen. Banana Boat's Sport Performance Sunscreen works great for me! I'm always running around or exercising, and since summer is here, I love soaking up some vitamin D during my workouts. I use 100spf to keep my skin as protected as possible- I've experienced being sun burnt before and it wasn't fun! Sport Performance sunscreen works best for me, because even through perspiration, swimming and severe heat, it holds up and protects your skin really well. I always apply at least 15 minutes before going into the sun to make sure my skin has had enough time to let the product settle.

Last but not least, I'm going to talk about my freshly purchased "Trichomania Shampoo" from Lush. It contains coconuts and coconut cream- my hairs soul mate! Now, I haven't yet used this shampoo, but I want to talk a bit about how I plan to use it. Since my hair is in braids right now, using a shampoo bar won't be as beneficial to my natural hair. I also don't use shampoo in my regular wash regimen, so I need to see how my hair reacts 100%- wild and free. Once my hair is out of braids, I plan on using this shampoo bar as demonstrated in this youtube video. Since LUSH is a 100% natural store, this shampoo contains no sulphates, parabens, silicones etc. It smells lovely, and I can't wait until my curls get a taste of it!
